Crime: Gaming systems, accessories stolen from home – Greenville Daily Reflector

Someone kicked in the door of a Cherry Court Drive home Monday and stole two video gaming systems, games and accessories, according to a Greenville police report. 

The incident reportedly occurred in the 100 block of Cherry Court Drive between 4:07 p.m. and 7:21 p.m., the report indicates. The front door was kicked in, and the door frame received $200 in damages.

An Xbox Kinect gaming camera, Uncharted Lost Legends PlayStation game, Uncharted 4 PlayStation game, Xbox One, assorted Xbox One games, Xbox One controller, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation controller all were stolen, the report shows. The items all are valued at $1,180.

An investigation is ongoing.

3040 Evans St., 4:20-4:25 p.m. Sept. 12: two bed skirts valued at $61.98 stolen from Target and recovered; ImmunoTek MasterCard/debit card of unlisted value also listed as recovered; case cleared by citation.

1200 block East Fire Tower Road, 2:30 p.m. Sept. 12: men’s synthetic gloves valued at $30 stolen from vehicle; case inactive.

3300 block East 10th Street, 6 p.m. Sept. 11-9 a.m. Sept. 12: Sprayground brand camo book bag and Apple iPad 2 in leather case valued at $165 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

4600 E. 10th St., 1:55-1:59 a.m. Sept. 12: two Dual automotive digital media receivers valued at $149.76 stolen from Wal-Mart; case inactive; warrants obtained.

200 block Southwest Greenville Boulevard, 7:50-9 p.m. Sept. 11: black wallet with “Betty Boop” written all over it, house key, mailbox key and car key, all valued at $300, and EBT card, Wells Fargo credit card, Wal-Mart gift card and Handy Mart card, all of unlisted value, stolen from woman in parking lot; investigation ongoing.

600 block West Arlington Boulevard, 6-7:30 pm. Sept. 11: iPhone 6s Plus valued at $700 stolen from juvenile at gym by known person; investigation ongoing.

800 block Thomas Langston Road, near Winterville, 6:26 p.m. Sept. 7: iPhone 6s valued at $100 stolen from man in shopping center area; 20-year-old man arrested and charged with two counts counts of larceny from the person and misdemeanor possession of stolen goods/property; 17-year-old girl arrested and charged with felony larceny.

1900 block Rosemont Drive, 2-3 a.m. Aug. 23: American Eagle pocket knife, Sony subwoofer and Sony tweeter, all valued at $219, stolen from rental storage facility; nine padlocks cut, $90 in damages; investigation ongoing. 

Assaults

3000 block Kingston Circle, 9-10 p.m. Sept. 12: 49-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; extent of injuries not reported; arrest made.

1500 block Halifax Street, 11:30-11:45 a.m. Sept. 12: 26-year-old man assaulted at home by known person; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

700 block South Memorial Drive, 8:45-9 a.m. Sept. 1: 37-year-old woman assaulted at service station; moderate injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

Damages

1800 block Southeast Greenville Boulevard, 12:01-8 a.m. Sept. 12: 2010 Ford Escort sustained $300 in damages; case inactive.

900 block Peed Drive, 2:04 p.m. Sept. 12: 2005 Toyota van sustained $500 in damages and 2012 Chevrolet Malibu sustained $200 in damages; investigation ongoing.

2900 block Westhills Drive, 11 p.m. Sept. 11-7:17 a.m. Sept. 12: 2006 Chrysler Pacifica sustained $200; case inactive.

400 block Brighton Park Drive, 10 p.m. Sept. 6-5:47 a.m. Sept. 7: 2008 Lexus LS430 sustained damages of $3,000; case inactive.

PITT COUNTY

The sheriff’s office released reports Wednesday with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

600 block Birchwood Drive, 8:30 a.m. Sept. 9-4 p.m. Sept. 10: Schwinn aluminum bicycle and Huffy Sonic 6 bicycle valued at $210 stolen in open land area; case closed; refusal to cooperate.

1200 block Grayleigh Drive, near Ayden, 6:50-6:52 p.m. Sept. 12: lumber valued at $30 stolen from residence; investigation ongoing.

4900 block N.C. 33 East, 3:20 a.m. Sept. 13: first-degree burglary at commercial building reported; no items listed as stolen; no injuries reported; glass door sustained $200 in damages; investigation ongoing.

Assault

3500 block West Avenue/Smith Street, near Falkland, 8:30 p.m. Sept. 12: 49-year-old woman assaulted by stranger in open land area; no injuries reported; $52 in cash and various medications valued at $300 stolen; investigation ongoing.
